The WYANP will be putting forth a bill for the licensure of naturopathic doctors during 2025 Wyoming legislative session. This bill is intended to establish a board of naturopathic medicine combined with the pre-existing board of acunpuncture, without infringing on the right of others to practice natural medicine. This page is intended to be a resource for legislators and the general public interested in this bill.

What does this bill do?

· Allows Naturopathic Doctors to practice in Wyoming at the level they have been trained.

· It creates the Naturopathic Physician Licensure Act

· It defines qualification requirements for Naturopathic Doctors

· Creates a Wyoming Board of Naturopathic Medicine; and for administrative purposes, it creates a combined board with the Wyoming Acupuncture Board.

· It defines licensure requirements and disciplinary actions.

What this bill does not do.

· Grow government.

· Restrict practitioners of natural health modalities from practicing.

· Restrict the use of natural therapies to naturopathic physicians.

· Restrict the use of homeopathy to naturopathic physicians.
